Rob Carter (Drums)

Rob is the drummer for Days After and one of the original members of the band, along with his brother, lead guitarist Will Carter and bassist Darrell Tanton.

Rob and Will came from a musical family. Their father played guitar and their grandfather played guitar and harmonica and sang old gospel and country songs.

Rob began playing drums at about the age of fifteen and soon began jamming with some of his high school buddies in garages, living rooms, or where ever else they could find to set up and play.

In high school, one of Rob’s best friends was Tommy Thompson, who later was the front man for the Yard Dogs, a band in which Matt played (see Matt’s bio).

Rob’s musical influences include many 60′s, 70′s, & 80′s artists, including Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, John Mellencamp, The Eagles, & The Beatles.

Favorite Drummers: Neil Peart, Alex Van Halen, John Bonham, Carter Beauford (just to name a few)
